Metal Gear Solid: True Fans was made to bring you the best news, videos, images, or anything else related to Metal Gear Solid and Kojima Productions.
We have had several staff members come and go, and have gone through quite a few layouts. Read below for the history of the site.
-Version 1-
Version 1 was pretty much a test. It was created by MatthewAlan, and wasn't that great. It was his first time at designing or coding any type of web pages.
-Version 2-
Zach(Vetspandex), joined the staff team in January of 2007. Him and Matt quickly began working on version 2 of the site, and finally, two weeks behind schedule, version 2 was ready! Version 2 was the first "main" site, and layout. During this time, we had several host problems, which caused hackings, and site downtime. Later in 2007(around September), the site was moved to a paid server. During this version we where reaching over 100,000 pageviews a month.
-Version 3 BETA-
In mid-2008, Manzoor Ahmed joined the staff team, and we started working on version 3 BETA. Version 3 was made to include a better organized layout, then v2. It was created with flash, and javascript files, compared to v2's text/php files.
During v3, two other members joined the team. Vedran Mavrovic(John Doe), and Vedran Babic(Silent Assassin). Vedran M. was originally hired as a forum mod. But he has since moved up to Co-Admin of the site. Vedran B. has just recently been promoted to moderator of the forum.
-The Future-
Version 4 of the site is already in planning! We can't release many details yet, but expect it middle of 2009.
