If its a prequel I expect MGS: Portable Ops - MG 1.

Thats pretty much the main gap. MGS2 - MGS4, isn't much they can put, except Raiden's life looking for Sunny, and becoming a ninja.

Knowing Kojima they can put in there a hell of a lot more then we think...

True, but as I've said before. It'll have to be completely new characters. As all MGS1 characters, are mentioned as "I haven't seen THEM since 2005" same for MGS2.

I feel it wouldn't be "much" of a story there.

They could always make a game to tie MG AC!D to the Solid series, its unlikely, but possible.

I wouldn't like MGA to be involved with the canon. It just doesn't feel right. The MGA story is cool but to many fantasy elements that were "killed" in the MGS4.

I say again...some remake that Kojima do, would be great.

To me if it was tied it wouldn't feel that wrong. Also, does anyone know what years MGA and MGA2 take place?

I don't know, but it had something to do with MGS universe putting to card game. It just doesn't feel right. No sneaking(real sneaking) and hardly tacticizing. I mean I lost my nerve after 2 hours, and just wanted to beat the game as soon as possible.

I think the games are somewhere between MGS and MGS2.

Yeah, putting into card wasn't a very good idea(to me). But, the PSP can't handle a full MGS game(PO is the closest we can get, and its a point-to-point game).

Also, I thought MGA-A2 was set about the same time as MGS4? 2012 - 2016


Another thing to add, we could get another game where you play as Big-Boss. What about before Snake Eater?

I would like to play as Big Boss. For some reason I would like to play with him after Portable Ops. I think there were some battles fought after that period.

Or as you said, maybe even before everything started.

There is a gap between MPO and MG1, but I still would rather have it in the MGS2-MGS4 area..

Well from 1975 to 1995 there are a lot of things that happen. I'm sure there will be something for Kojima to work on. If he will work on it.

As I said I just want to JAP people work on the game with no Americans(in production) or Europeans helping(like RP did).

Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing MGS5 made into a prequel of some sorts, ala MGS3. Maybe a PSP-sized spin-off that sees Raiden rescuing Sunny from the grasp of The Patriots or Snake busting Naomi out of jail (as described in the book of ITDOSM). That would be seriously epic. However, I think they’ll probably continue the saga with the cast of young characters that appeared in MGS4 – Sunny, her foreign boyfriend and Raiden’s son.

Well I wouldn't mind seeing Sunny in MGS5 but playing as Raidens son and some other character would be lame.
I mean if I would wanna play with kids I would play Final Fantasy(which I do btw...).
But MGS has always been a bad ass character game in my view, and I would like it to stay that way.

I think it would be great to play as Big Boss again...
